A celebration of 50th birthdays with high school friends. We get together every summer to catch up, laugh, argue, and have some fun. Through sicknesses, the loss of family members, high school graduations, soon to be college graduations, breast cancer diagnoses, and all that comes with life, these jersey girls stay connected. This year we did brunch at Hot Butter Soul, Black owned restaurant in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Uniquely named breakfast dishes, and so much food. The servers did an excellent job and were very nice. Large parties must order in advance. I felt kind of weird ordering breakfast for future me but it worked out. I got the Zaddy plate. I didn’t like the name. lol There were no complaints from the ladies about the food or anything else and just about everyone had leftovers to take home. I know, who takes home leftover eggs. They give you so much food you just don’t want to waste it. And those eggs held up and still tasted good. The fish was plentiful and the grits were beyond healthy heap. I will keep saying it. There was so much food. For couples… split it. Seriously. They also have a breakfast charcuterie board with an assortment of breakfast items. No one would split it with me and I am kinda glad because there was so much food. We had a great time. Tell a friend to tell a friend.
