So I have grown up in the area, and I know for a fact this town is FULL of racists. I have heard more than once that in my area It is considered a sundown town! I’m not particularly sure if they have a bad history or not but the vibe of the entire town is definitely not it. There is a hotel there that has racist owners (as of a year or so ago I doubt they changed owners) driving through during the day might be fine but everytime my old friend would drive through there at night (he’s black) they would pull him over. EVERYTIME…
