Semuc Champey is an absolutely amazing natural wonder to visit in Guatemala. The natural limestone pools are a beautiful blue, there’s butterflies, and you are tucked into a valley surrounded by wild monkeys, tropical birds, and flora. Basically it feels like a paradise. The entry price is 50 Quetzals. I would recommend going with a tour guide for your first time, but if you want to visit by yourself either for the first time or after your first time that’s totally doable as well. There’s also a couple hostels nearby that have restaurants!
