Paris is unquestionably one of those cities with magnificent cuisines, stunning boulevards, it has everything you could ever look for in a city, it wasn’t named the city of love for nothing. I’ve only been to Paris twice and I’m ready to visit again in 2019. Buy the tourist 3 days or week unlimited travel pass which works on the metros and buses i believe. Book and stay in any hotel within the 20 arrondissements of Paris . Learn some basic french phrases "Bonjour, Merci, Oui" are not good enough a few sentences would be nice and DO NOT say "Voulez-vous Coucher Avec Moi" unless you're in the streets of Moulin Rouge, kidding! Do not say it at all. Book tickets for everything in advance as Paris is amongst the top 5 most visited places in the world and can get very crowded. Take lots of pictures as Paris is a picturesque a lot of photo op can be taken of the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre etc, one of the most beautiful, charming and fascinating destinations in the world. Have a budget and DON'T get 'lost in the sauce' as Paris is cheap but can be expensive if care isn't taken.
Dubai is a crazy desert theme park, crossed with an impressive sci-fi movie set, mega architecture, man-made islands and a money to burn attitude renowned as the middle east finest, a city of endless fun. Travel in November because Emirates Airline sell tickets for as cheap as £295, and the weather is perfect around 25° C, unlike in the summer month where the temperature will be too hot at 40° C. If you have a bigger budget definitely spoil yourself and stay in a hotel on the Palm, you wouldn't regret it. At the safari which is a MUST do activity, during you dessert tour do not pay for extras as desert workers might try to make money off you. so go with your own desert outfit if possible. Do not visit during Ramadan months, holy month (early May to early June) as a lot of restaurants and attractions are usually closed. Except obviously if your main purpose of travel will be for religious reasons. Book and stay in multiple hotels in different areas if possible, so you can experience the city overall, AND stay in an hotel in downtown as accessibility to attractions and metro links is great. Use the metro as much as possible as it is very efficient BUT remember to stay out of the WOMEN & CHILDREN carriage or you risk a fine of 100 AED (£20). Do not get arrested in Dubai over silly things such as too much PDA or being intoxicated in public. Dress appropriately and wear comfortable light texture clothings as the weather could get quite hot and always walk around with a bottle of water to stay hydrated. Have a budget and DON'T get 'lost in the sauce' as people will try to rip you off being a tourist, know what activities you want to indulge in and plan way ahead. Not everyone has the privilege of free visa on arrival entry into Dubai especially visitors from 3rd world countries and if that's the case you would probably need to apply for a visa, and the easiest one to acquire been the 14 Days service visa (£150). In a nutshell it's a transit visa that allows visitors into Dubai for 2 weeks and there are a bunch of travel agencies out there to use but the cheapest and most reliable are iDubai Visa or Dusktours. However you could also apply through the "manage your booking section" on the emirates website when you purchase your ticket.
Santorini is a gem & should definitely be visited although the price tag could be of putting but if great planning is done you could visit with a low budget and still have an even greater experience so travel in low season April/May as this is low season in Santorini whereby the weather is an average of 18 - 24 degrees, hotels are cheaper during this period and the island is less crowded than it'll be in months like July/August. Book and stay in multiple hotels if possible, in different villages so you can experience the island overall, AND stay in an hotel on the caldera as this would be one of your highlights of the whole trip. Rent a car or ATV, they are cheaper in low season as well and it'll give you a lot of freedom to explore the islands BUT be very careful as not only are Greeks known for being terrible drivers, the roads in Santorini can be very small and narrow. Book flight tickets as early as possible because if you shop around properly you could secure a return ticket as low as £69.99 even if you’re from any parts of the world you could always connect from London and save yourself a lot of money. Wear comfortable shoes as the island has a lot of stairs and always walk around with a bottle of water. Take lots of pictures as Santorini is a picturesque island, one of the most beautiful, charming and fascinating destinations in the world. Don't be camera shy as everyone will be busy taking pictures as well. Have a budget and DON'T get 'lost in the sauce' as tour promoters are easily persuasive and can have you booking activities you might end up regretting due to their long hours and high cost.
