I went to Trinidad and Tobago to visit family. While in Tobago we went to the infamous restaurant in a tree ( Jemma's Treehouse) and I have breadfruit pie for the first time and if you don't have it once in your life YOU HAVE NOT LIVED! The doubles and aloopie man outside of the Tobago airport is hands down the best. Although the man outside the port of Spain airport gave him a run for his money. The ox tail soup, curry and roti, manicou (for the brave), pelau, and bake and shark are must haves! Trinidad and Tobago is home to some of the finest west Indian food.

I am of Caribbean descent so I am a little bias. I also love to try new foods and I eat just about everything, you name it, I eat it! The food in the Dominican was amazing! I stayed in Puerto Plata at the VH Atmosphere and in Sosua (sadly I don't remember the name of the resort, I stayed there because of an over booking on my flight... Lucky me!) and the food was very similar to what I am used to, roast breadfruit, boiled green banana, fried plantain, a lot of rice and meat, plus I got to experience new flavours as they have spanish influence in their food with the paellas and seafood stews, those were to die for! 10/10 recommend.

I went to Jamaica for 4 days and ended up staying for 3.5 months! Lol it was honestly one of the best trips of my life! While the culture can be much at times (it's the Caribbean! Men like to catcall, you just have to ignore) the adventure aspect of it was AMAZING! From the blue hole to Treasure beach to butchering an entire goat to all the hidden mineral streams and rivers we found. You can find absolutely anything in Jamaica. They even have caves! It was 13 chambers and you even got to swim from one chamber to another. If you want to cliff dive, fish with a water bottle and line, swim in the clear blue ocean, kayak, river raft, zip line, have a push cart ride, swim under waterfalls, climb through rock tunnels to get to hidden waterfalls JAMAICA HAS IT ALL!!! If you want an amazing experience I travelled with Island Tours Jamaica here's a link to their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/islandtoursjamaica/
