A Little About Me:
I’ve newly fallen in love with traveling. As an over 40 year old empty nester, I feel that traveling has given me a new lease on life and an appreciation for this amazing world we live in! I have quite the bucket list for traveling planned and look forward to the journey!
Cozumel was the last stop on a cruise and got off to do excursions but we ended up just touring the city. It was very nice and quaint with great local food and kind people. Alberto’s Beach Bar is a must for food and really great drinks!! The prices were very reasonable and we had more than enough to fill our bellies. Freshest lobster tails ever! The Lobster Shack is excellent as well (see the theme here...clearly, i love lobster ?)Overall, it was a very laid back place that we felt very comfortable visiting for the day.
Montego Bay made me never want to go home. It was beautiful. While in MoBay we stayed at the all inclusive Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa. Also, to party we slid down the road to the “adult” all inclusive Riu Reggae and paid $75 each for a 24 hour pass. Three Palms Restaurant is the “more formal” of the restaurants with a dress code and hard to get reservations. I honestly preferred the food at Mangoes. Did i mention the Jamaican patties...wait for it!! ❤️I’m surprised I didn’t turn into a pattie!! Also, the Sunrise Beach Jerk Hut!! The BEST jerk chicken I’ve ever tasted. And the unlimited Bob Marley’s at the resort made for a truly happy girl in me! For relaxation, romance, beautiful weather and warm water...MoBay is the place to go.
See the stars...literally. The city is loaded with A-Listers that are reachable and relatable. Climb Stone Mountain or Kennesaw Mountain for a great workout that’s not your normal gym day. Visit shows at the historic Fox Theatre and bar hop through Buckhead. Atlanta is the city that never sleeps. It’s like “baby New York”!!
