Tahiti is the most beautiful place, but honestly, I'm not a fan. The food wasn't my cup of tea, and the hotels are super overpriced. We took a family trip back in September and stayed at the Hilton. They have nightly parties and events at the hotel which was pretty entertaining. Make friends with somebody at the front desk because they have drink coupons! The Fa'aruma'i waterfall is gorgeous. It's a short walk to the waterfall which is also green and beautiful. Great for photo ops. But my favorite was feeding the stingrays in Mo'orea. The boat ride was like $70 roundtrip. Definitely worth it. If you like rest and relaxation, Tahiti is the spot.

I definitely want to come back. Though you don’t need a COVID-19 test to get out here any longer, the immigration questionaire still asks if you’ve been tested. They don’t ask for proof. As of November 16, 2020 the city is still in a semi lockdown so the bars stop serving alcohol after 8pm!!! BUT we lucked up on a rooftop bar called La Jugada(it’s downtown behind The Wall) that allowed us to drink on roof until 11pm. Our hotel still served liquor after 8pm. I’ll have a lil more Spanish under my belt before I come back!!

I just got back from a family trip in San Juan. I agree with the other travelers...3-4 days is long enough...we stayed for a week. I found 2 spots that showed me a good time. For the foodies, I found a spot on Ashford Ave. called Cayo Blanco...directly across the from Condado Vanderbilt hotel...we went a couple times!! The meals are like $20+ but worth it in my opinion. Now for the partiers, I found this strip club called District!! The girls are good looking and the drinks weren't watered down. The music is up to date and more up beat. Not quite as fun as Atlanta strip clubs, but as far as these Caribbean strip clubs go, this was the best!!!

Hong Kong can definitely be done in 2 days. Found it hard to shop since I don’t purchase many luxury items, but I enjoyed the food. The Ngong Ping cable car will be closed until the 27th of March. We got all the way over there just to find out that it closed the day before we arrived...it rained quite a bit as well. Only 1 of those rainy days required an umbrella

I enjoyed eating in Venice!!! The fish soup, which is really all the seafood, was delicious & welcoming since we went during the winter. We had an early morning flight so I just want to recommend that you tell your hotel the day before since the water taxis don’t run throughout the night. The water taxis are also VERY EXPENSIVE in the early morning hours. We ended up walking back to the train station.

I found the souk situation a lil nerve racking!!! Men everywhere trying to grab us & make us go to their stall. I found the deeper we walked into the souk much calmer, but I was still WORN OUT!! I was too overwhelmed so I did the majority of my shopping at a nearby mall. No haggling & the prices were still cheap.

I agree with a lot of the other reviews about the stares from locals...seemed a little worse coming from the older women...I did find a bar that plays a good mix of music. It’s called Athens Sports Bar on Veikou 3...they play quite a bit of West Coast old school music which I can appreciate being from California...they also showed the NFL games on Monday night. Loved ending my day here

Went for a girls trip in August & was surprised not to find much night life in Aruba. We did find out(on the last day of our trip) that the steakhouse in the Renaissance has an after hour lounge that goes on until 5am on certain nights. I’ll definitely be going back for more flamingo pics & to see what the after hour is really like...

Stayed here for 2 nights because we were trying to get as close as possible to St Tropez for the cheapest price. We did venture out while we were there...there wasn’t much to do besides bar hop & look at the nice boats. Friendlier people than the Parisians in my opinion, but I would think all beach towns are a lil more laid back. St Tropez was a good time as well just SUPER EXPENSIVE & a bit of a hassle to get to!!! I’m going to try Paris 1 more time simply for all the African men that I met on my last day in Paris. I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!!

I wasn’t really impressed with Dubai...but that could be because my expectations were so high...I see a lot of reviews saying they really enjoyed Abu Dhabi so I really wish we would’ve ventured that way, but my trip was short. I had to get as much out of Dubai in 4 days as I could!! I absolutely loved the flower garden and the lounge at the W but I can’t speak as highly about anything else. I don’t have to go back...

I agree with everyone on here saying that they had an amazing time in Phuket. I’m debating now on either going to a brand new place next year or going to Thailand for the 2nd time. We stayed at the Renaissance & paid $50 a night!! Being from California, these prices are unheard of!! I do suggest taking a few shots before you hit Bangla Road...it’s definitely a must see but not with a totally clear head!!!

I enjoyed St Thomas as far as the relaxing goes, but not much else. I definitely wasn’t impressed with the food. We stayed in an AirB&B so we were able to make meals at home. But the crazy part is that the grocery store food was damn near more than the restaurants!! A few locals told us that nearly everything has to be shipped to them so that’s why the market food is so high!! I had a better time on our day trip to St John, but if you’re looking to lay out on some beautiful beaches or take a night cruise around the town & meet some fun(and fine) local men, St Thomas is a good spot for it!!

I loved the Bahamas, but I did find it hard to leave the Atlantis Resort. The WiFi worked even at the beach!! We(my family) got lucky and found a cool taxi driver(who was a sorta famous boxer) that took us on a tour of the hot spots & the hood. He charged us a decent price. Atlantis, however, had NO decent prices!! I remember paying $45 for a personal pizza and vodka tonic...I’m still happy we went but I agree with the other review about NOT staying 7 days...I also found that it was quite boring and pricey. 4 days would’ve been better for me and my money set up!! Just an update: I'm back in the Bahamas during Covid-19...mostly because it's 1 of the only places that opened. You have to present a negative test to travel.gov.bs They take a while to respond so we called to get the process sped up. We made it on the flight just in time. I tried 2 restaurants at the Fish Fry that I didn't try back in 2017. Sky Juice King knows how to spice up the jerk chicken, shrimp, & lobster!! And the Salty Crab at the very tip of Junkanoo Beach( not sure if its still considered the Fish Fry) had good snapper. Just a lil too salty for my taste but I grabbed a big ass bottle of water. The drinks at this spot where large and cheap. We also found a driver who I plan to keep in contact with just in case any of us want to go back. He showed us the WHOLE island for the low!! The tour we took 3 years ago has NOTHING on him!! His name is Torino and his contact is 242-829-6869. I highly recommend if you're headed to the bahamas!!
