Rio is really affordable and there is so much to do.
Hotels are not expensive and they often offer amazing views and rooftops. I'm not familiar with their Air Bnb options but hotels are usually a safe bet. I would avoid taxis as they often try to take advantage of tourists especially due to the language barrier. Uber is available and usually significantly cheaper. We kept getting warned about how dangerous Rio was even while in line boarding the plane but I would say its just like any place - just be respectful and aware of your surroundings. The beaches are stunning.

Abu Dhabi is a so stunning. The people are very friendly especially the ones in tourist areas. Must go places are the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Desert safari which affordable, Dubai is about 2 hours away and cost about $100 by taxi if its a day trip. The culture is so rich that you probably want to purchase everything in sight. The Emirates are extremely hot and arid so I suggest bringing water everywhere you go. If you want to go clubbing Mad on Yas Island is dope. So is Stars n Bars for shishah and food. There's Formula 1 in Nov and it's a fun time to visit but it gets expensive around this time. They also dry period where they don't serve any alcohol at all - so wary of this if you are interested in drinking, etc.
Turks & Caicos is such a beautiful island. The currency is USD and everything is relatively expensive. Flights are usually inexpensive so if you track the date range you would like to go or use Google flights you can easily land a great deal. There are nice accommodations but they sell out quickly especially the mid-range ones. The island is very quiet but they have staple activities such as Fish Fry on Thursdays where food vendors are set and music is roaring - its like a mini carnival party. Traveling via taxi is like a carpool type of scenario and not too expensive. Liquor is in abundance and its the feel good kind.
