London is everything I imagined it would be and then some! If you're into history, you'll love the city. Everywhere you turn in London you are surrounded by thousands of years of history. The British Museum is one of the most impressive museums in the world and I highly recommend taking some time to visit. Of course, make sure you visit Buckingham Palace and Big Ben, but don't spend too much time there. There are beautiful parks all around the city if you would like to do lunch in the park. Also, I HIGHLY recommend visiting Stonehenge while you're in London. There are buses that run daily that will take you to Stonehenge and back in one day. I paid around 30 euros for my bus ticket. There's also an entrance fee of about 15 euros. You won't regret it.

Cartagena is a beautiful city! Colombia, of course, has had a reputation for being a dangerous city for tourists because of Mr. Escobar, but the government has done a great job of turning things around and making Colombia a great tourist destination. During my time in Cartagena, I stayed in Manga which is a residential area. I liked it because it was only a mile away from the Old Town and the views from my AirBnB were great. Old Town is more of a touristy area with plenty of hostels and hotels. Bocagrande is a business district with a touristy vibe due to the close proximity of the beach. If money is no object, I recommend staying in Bocagrande. But, if you are staying in Cartagena for longer than a week, I recommend Manga.

Marrakesh is a one of the most inexpensive cities I've ever visited. I stayed in a hostel (Kif-Kif) for less than $5/day! The food is very inexpensive as well. The most you should spend on a meal is about $5. The taxi drivers will try to overcharge you if you have the "I'm a tourist" look, but a trip from the airport to the Medina should cost no more than $5-7. Most people visit Marrakesh because it is a jumpoff point for multi-day desert tours and trains to other cities. The Merzouga desert tours can range from $200-300, but they are well worth it!

I spent 3 days in Bogota and it was more than enough time to experience the city. Bogota has many different museums to visit if you're into visiting museums during international travel. The Museo de Oro (Gold Museum) is probably the coolest of the museums. Also, I highly recommend visiting Monserrate (the monastery in the mountains). There are three ways to reach Monserrate: cable car, train, or stairs. The stairs are the cheapest way, but it is a pretty good hike to the top. I was also told by a local that it can be dangerous. I took the cable car and it was a great experience. The views on the cable car are amazing.
