A Little About Me:

I loooove to travel and experience new surroundings and see this big, beautiful world.  I also write about where I've been, I am a contributor to The Miami Times.  From girls trips, trips w/ bae, to trips with my original road dawg, My Favorite Son, traveling makes me happy and that what life is about, finding your joy.

One of the best trips I ever took with my bae was last Memoria Day weekend to Curacao, so laid back and as they say "dushi" (means cool, good). Curacao is outside the hurricane belt so you can visit year-round with no threat of hurricanes. We tried new adventures like, we jet skied with Blue Coast Curaçao, went off roading with Off-Road Buggy Adventure, and toured the city on a scooter with Prudential Car Rental. I really went out of my comfort zone and am so happy I tried new things. The people in Curacao are some of the nicest we've ever met. Book your tickets now.

I took my Favorite Son to Panama in March and we had a great time. Panama is such a fun city with so many things to do. We were surprised that it was Panama's carnival (i forgot to check what was happening in the country beforehand) so we had two experiences in one. Panama has one of the largest carnivals in Central and South America (little known fact) and it was great to experience carnival that takes it to di road. We had some of the best food ever in Panama, make sure to visit Diablicos for authentic Panamanian food , it's located in Centro Historico (Historic Center). Make sure to visit Causeway De Amador for great food spots. Don't be fooled by the exterior of some of the buildings, the food is so dope.

My girlfriends and I really enjoyed Cartagena. This was a first time trip for everyone, so we wanted to try different things. One activity we did was take a chocolate tour at Museo Del Cacao (Choco Museo). Included in the tour was a chocolate workshop where we made our own chocolates with different fillings. The workshop is about 45 minutes and the location is in Centro Historico, so after you get your treats you can walk around the old city. The Museo is very colorful and is also a store so you can purchase authentic chocolates from white to dark. Our chocolate guide was really fun, he really broke down the history of chocolate, and how those in power centuries ago stole the chocolate from the original inhabitants. While we were making our chocolates, they had reggaeton, salsa, and reggae music playing, so the vibe is fun. It costs $17 USD to do this workshop.
