A Little About Me:
Collecting memories, photo albums and passport stamps. 4 new destinations a year is the goal. Obsessed with african history/culture and determined to see all 54 african countries. Started my travel journey pretty late in life so i’m catching up and teaching my little girl very young to know her history and where she comes from, to be cultured, educated and world savvy
This was one the these cities where there were no days at all to sit and relax at a hotel. There’s just so much to do and so much to see. We dis not even complete our list. He only disadvantage is that you need to iber everywhere. I usually walk or take public transportation where i travel to. I feel it’s a way to also get to know a place. But this is not possible in Dubai, plus everything is far so you spend a lot in taxi or uber. Besides that, you won’t ever get bored. It’s also very kid-friendly. The best part of my trip was the desert safari. Hot as hell but worth every sweat. I really enjoyed this trip, lile really enjoyed it.
This is the kind of country where you get everything in one, the fancy and sophisticated, the good and fun & the bad and ugly. There’s a lot to do, you will never get bored. There’s a whole mixture of cultures, on one corner you’re in latino land and on another you’re in the US. And that’s also infrastructurally. But traveling while black is On a whole different level. Racism is a strong word and i won’t say that but there is a level of colorism there for sure. Aside from that it’s a great place for vacation, family oriented, so much to do with kids and i’d definitely recommend
If you’re a beach and all-inclusive-resort person, this is for you. But if you’re a museum and park person, you won’t find much to do. I went for my honeymoon. The first 2 days i arrived was great but after that i got a little bored. And i was there for a whole 10 days. I did do some activities other than the beach like ATV, went to a cenote and visited Coba which were all great but Going to the city from the beach area is kinda far and it’s not fun being stuck in a hotel that’s far from everything. So plan right And stay centered
I underestimated this city and wish i had spent more time there. Although it’s pretty small and can be visited in a day, i think it’s best to give it at least 3 days to savour in all it has to give; from the food to the architecture to the stroll around the small corridors.m, it’s actually fun to get lost in the maze and discover things. I’m not the type to revisit cuz my list is so long but i’m Definitely going back.
