Bern is an amazing town to visit! As a black person you will get the occasional looks but mostly from tourists from other parts of Europe and not even the locals. Everyone is very nice and is open to speaking English if you only speak English. Beautiful city with lots of open spaces to chill, have a picnic, have a drink, etc. Make sure to go to Restaurant Rosengarten for dinner at sunset.
