If you enjoy nature, a nice cocktail and also the downtown vibes, Cincinnati Ohio is the place to be. I know what you’re thinking?! Who would go to Ohio? Believe it or not Cincinnati if a great city to get away from the weekend. We visited in the beginning of summer so the weather was perfect. The parks downtown offer jazz in the park with 3 bars spread through out the neighborhood parks. Serving up cocktails and mock tails. Listening to live jazz while sipping a beverage of your choice definitely is a whole vibes. I was a bit concerned upon landing in Kentucky, yes the Cincinnati airport is located in Kentucky with a short drive over the bridge to the city. We saw a confederate flag( traveling while black) but honestly the people were extremely nice and we even walked the bridge over the Ohio River over into Kentucky. Ohio is known for Skyline Chili bowls, hot dogs, everything chili. And honestly it was the best chili dog I’ve ever had. The “secret ingredient” to the chili is cinnamon 10/10 highly recommended. We also enjoyed our lodging we stayed at the Pickle Boutique Hotel. Very clean customer service was 10/10. I hope this changes peoples perception of vacationing in the Midwest
