PHILIPPINES!!! You gave me everything, from the countryside, to the inter-workings of the City and the remote island beaches. Went for a wedding that turned those 8 days into a bona fide vacation.
Here are some fun facts I’d like to share:
The whole city is non-smoking (trust & believe you will get fined)
At 5’1, I was taller than every woman I encountered
$1 dollar will get you approx $50 Filipino pesos ($50 pesos is enough for a meal)
The president of the Philippines is from Davao City and he still resides there
Davao City is the most populous city in the country outside of Metro Manila (2.5 mil)
