Hiroshima is a very well put together city. After you leave the station (there was some work being done, Spring 2025). I enjoyed walking around and soaking everything in. I wish I had stayed 2 or more days in Hiroshima rather than doing a day trip from Osaka to Hiroshima. My only regret. The food was good! Okonomiyaki hits every time. Momiji Manju was okay compared to other manju in Japan. I had to hold in my thug tears at the museums. Survivor testimonials hit me hard. I rented a kimono at the end of the day but should’ve done that at the beginning. The kimono spot had a few experiences, like traditional giftwrapping we participated in. Very fun, but do it early.
