I’m full Mexican and have come here several times. Never felt uncomfortable until today 6/20/25, the day after Juneteenth. It was busy and I was the only person of color in here. Staff was too busy for me to notice any kind of racism. All their staff is blonde and blue eyed btw. The clientele however, did not make me feel welcome. The amount of dirty looks I got the minute I walked in was alarming. The kind of feeling that only colored ppl in the U.S. can relate to. Where everyone is obviously looking at you because you’re different than them. I didn’t order everything I wanted because I wanted to get out asap because of how uncomfortable I was. Be alert and aware of your surroundings here my brothers and sisters.

Traveling While Black
I’ve lived here, not passed through so I don’t know the traveling experience but the KKK has shown up here. They weren’t wearing the hoods and everything but it was the literal KKK. Everyone here is either a republican, asian, a surfer, or from money.
