I’ve lived here for quite some time. I’ve never had issues and always had friendly neighbors. It’s close to Orlando for a nightlife/romance. It’s a very cute place and most people are friendly. Several places to eat, Peach Valley, Another Broken Egg, Stonewood Grill & Tavern. Heathrow is close by with other great restaurants and a movie theater.
Work/Leisure Travel to Lake Mary and Altamonte Springs, FL
I am in HR so I travel alot and this was my first trip to visit a branch in Lake Mary Florida. Lake Mary Florida was definitely not diverse at all but the locals were very friendly. We ate at Don Julios which was nice and had a team activity I booked at Top Golf.
Our company booked a stay at Embassy Suites in Altamonte Springs, Fl which was also very nice but not very diverse (mainly whites and hispanics). The service was top tier and they were very friendly. We ate at Bahama Breeze for team dinner which was very good (not diverse).
For leisure, I drove to Davenport Florida to visit family in Pociana Florida and stayed in an Airbnb (Steve) that was very very nice but definitely was out of place (only African American in miles). However the host was very nice, the neighbors (nosey) was nice and overall the experience was great!
