I live in this area and while not perfect, Rogers is safe. There are great local restaurants, free events for families, and a diverse community. The Railyard provides free concerts that have brought out local Black and Brown artists.
Sundown town. Most of the town population is white Asian Pacific Islander. No people of color not even Latino Americans. Not far from Arkansas big college University of Arkansas Fayetteville. It’s a cute little town looks like something out of a lifetime movie. Has an amphitheater they have a lot of country artist that perform there. So it’s nice during the day. Just don’t be caught driving around at night being outside at night while black. Although I’ve never witnessed I’ve just heard stories that this is one of Arkansas many secret sundown towns that still exist although Arkansas claims to have made this illegal. Just have to use your common sense especially when you’re in a town and you don’t see anyone that looks like you.
