Rotterdam is the famous port city of the Netherlands (1.30h from Amsterdam).
I went to visit my friend. I guess Amsterdam is much more attractive, but Rotterdam has its own charm.
The African market of Rotterdam is nice, I bought some nice batiks for my mother. They have excellent seafood.
It was kind of difficult to connect with people as they speak dutch (I don’t know a word in German).
Travel while black was ok.
