Would not recommend if you are of color. Any color. Passing through shouldn’t be much of a problem but I myself was threatened to be shot while simply walking on the sidewalk midday. And while at the store with my boyfriend who has been in jail and in the army felt so unsafe and uncomfortable he urged for me to move away immediately and has not returned to them at town. The stares of hatred where enough to know your not welcome. Before leaving someone burned a cross in my backyard so yea would not recommend.
