The vibe is definitely a port town/fishing town. Slow paced and perfect for recharging on the beach. The jacked up trucks definitely give you a conservative vibe until you realized they are people’s work vehicles for pulling boats and catch. During the summer months the population was diverse, the locals were pretty friendly, and the beaches were just what the family needed to let it all go. We are definitely coming back here.
