This was our first time in Greensboro, GA. Hadn’t heard about it before. Since we were on a 12 day road trip we were looking for economical places to stay. Wound up at the Lake Oconee/Greensboro KOA. Had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground was huge and actually has two pools, a game room with a pool table and ping pong etc. the bathrooms were private and plentiful.
The area was also great with places to eat and things to do nearby. Overall great experience and felt very comfortable since most camp grounds are not saturated with people of color, this campground had everyone and they were all getting along. Seemed like a safe environment and accepting, which was comforting.
We had very structured plans so we did not really experience any night life activities to be able to appropriately assess that category. Romance was also not an area of review for us.
If in the area again, I would definitely stay there.
