Drive while Black in this town is the safest place ever I did not stay in a hotel we were just passing by we stopped at a gas station people were very friendly
The cabins at Fontainebleau State Park was beautiful and peaceful. Watching the sunset was awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone. The town is friendly and the park is conveniently close for local shopping, eating at the local restaurants and exploring. You would not be disappointed! It’s also an hour away from New Orleans if you want to get away to do something for the evening but quiet enough if you want to stay in and just have a nice romantic dinner. If you have your children you can have game night. There is a beach and splash pad for cooling off. I plan to go back. Money was well spent!
