Mykonos is a very beautiful island. The island itself is almost in the exact state since its existence. Be prepared because driving is crazy and each road is only two lanes. This is used by locals and tourists. I stayed at a DeLite Boutique Hotel. The hotel is beautiful right off the water. All rooms come with a view of the water. I did a local yacht cruise and it was nice. The local food is good better than any Greek food in the US. I also learned that they do not use lettuce in their Greek salads. Apaggio Restaurant is a must have for dinner. Some of the best raw oysters. When visiting Mykonos be prepared to walk and wear some comfortable walking shoes. You can catch the local bus and it will take you to the main area of town that is filled with shopping, restaurants and things to do. For the most part the locals are tolerable.
I fell in love in Mykonos, well at least for 3 days, and I’d do all over again!Lol Mykonos was my last stop on 10 day solo Greece tour from Athens, to Santorini and finally Mykonos. As a single-solo traveler it was a great place to meet people and have a good time. .It could be the fact that I’m a water sign and if I’m near a beach I’m at peace and love is in the air for me. Whatever it is, Mykonos definitely gave me all the feels.
The great thing about Mykonos is that they have several different beaches throughout the island. I had an Airbnb next to Ornos beach, which was nice but more of a quiet area as far as parties. So I was able easily to get transportation by the local bus to Mykonos town which is the center location for all buses and then head to different beaches in the island. You also can beach hop by taxi boat, I believe they go from beach to beach every 45 minutes.
I spent the first day and night enjoying the night beach club on Paradise beach club. Paradise beach, not to be confused with Super Paradise beach is a beach that has two beach clubs right next to each other, the other being Tropicana. Both are beachfront and offer cabanas and lounger chairs for a fee. Paradise beach club seemed to have better music and offered 2 for 1 drinks. They also have a food market and a few store in between them. The food market has a place with great gyros, please don’t leave Greece without getting a gyro, or you’ll definitely be missing out, They also have another club that is up further than the beach, but that one is more of a night only, while the other two are from day to night parties. You can expect loud music and drinks, as well as the beautiful views of the ocean views.
Another great thing that I got to do was visit the windmills. Great photo opp and amazing views there, and then you can have lunch or go shopping in the stores nearby in Mykonos town.. I had a semi-private yacht day, that included beach tours, lunch and a stop on one of the nicer beaches. During that time I got a great foot massage on my lounge chair after lunch. There was also opportunity to snorkel, but I skipped that this time. They have a nude beach there as well, you can see from the boat, but it was mostly only men I seen occupying it. It’s said to be know more as “rainbow beach”. Mykonos has a lot of different areas and hidden gems there, with a far better party scene than Santorini, I definitely recommend adding this stop, just make sure it’s not off season.
Mykonos is a very beautiful free spirit environment. The food is a amazing. The Myconian Ambassador hotel is a great location for beautiful views of the ocean and walking distance of a party beach which also provides great food, music, and massages if needed. The hotel staff were great. They are very respectful kind hearted people. Transportation was provided through the hotel which made traveling very easy. If you want a relaxed not too crowded environment, I suggest to go around September and October but bring light fall clothing due to high wind levels. The spring and summer months are the best if you are looking for heavy crowds. Visiting Mykonos windmills has a nice unique setting. Everything from the windmills such as shopping stores, restaurants, four wheeler and bike rentals are all in walking distance. The best time to shop in Mykonos is during the September and October months during the shutdown period just a tip. Hope you all enjoy.
Two reasons to go to Mykonos- food and parties!! Mykonos has some of the best authentic food I’ve ever eaten. It was fresh and tasted delicious! Most dinners came with complimentary items, such as yogurt or the famous Skinos (Mastika) drink and a balloon full of generosity and kind hospitality. Gyros, baklava, rooster, seabass, calamari, and a plethora of other fresh fish were featured at most of our dinners. We dined at Tavern Limnios ( best restaurant on the island), Caprice Bar, Sea Satin, Captain’s, Souvlaki Story, Pepper, and Nice and Easy( best restaurant for brunch). Oh how could I forget, the gelato was aaaaaahhhhhmazing!! I love this place.
Nightlife was super fun- or maybe it just seemed that way because it was 16 of us and we were lit at every bar we went to lol. Let’s just say, when the BARTENDER grabs your hand and pulls you on top of the bar to dance, that’s one hell of a night!! The few spots we hit were Jackie O’s, Stairs, Addiction, and a random convenience store that had a bar lol! Hands down, best vacay so far!!
Mykonos is definitely for all the PARTY ANIMALS. We stayed at the Bay hotel, the staff was amazing. They really go that extra mile to make you feel like royalty (gave us a complimentary dinner ). The pool is to die for and the views are breathtaking, pics don’t do it justice! The night life here is ridiculously insane. But in Greece do as the Grecians do! Partying isn’t really my scene but it’s hard not to have a good time with all the different clubs and eateries they have available. Nothing like it , would definitely recommend if you’re looking for some unforgettable fun!
In Mykonos you can definitely party and enjoy the nightlife but you can also eat in the city at so many different restaurants along the waterfront. They had the best seafood out of Santorini and Athens. You can rent ATVS and roam around the town however you like. There’s the beach by Mykonos Beach Hotel where you can take a swim and relax. Mykonos gives you a piece of everything for a vacation. I can’t wait to go back when it’s even warmer !
It’s been said that 3rd time is a charm, but 2nd time was a charm! Come to Mykonos during April – July!
During my 1st visit it was very vivid! I enjoyed both Paradise & Super Paradise Island, nothing less of amazing! I party from day till night! I stayed not to long from the Ferry port during my 1st visit in Mykonos. The scenery was beautiful and the food was delicious. If you are a seafood lover I would refer you to Mykonos. During my last visit in Mykonos, I traveled via plane from Athens and it was much quicker than the Ferry, but I would recommend both depending on your travels. During my last visit I stayed in an Air Bnb and It was such a cute place away from the city, but we had a driver that was readily available when we called to pick us up wherever we went. If you want there information don’t hesitate to reach out on IG or YouTube site traveling_tenderoni on IG or even watch my Youtube video travelingtenderoni! Don’t forget to visit Little Venice for food, drinks, shopping, and shisha! Nice & Easy was a good restaurant and Kamarza. Lastly please do go to places to see the sunrise and sunset, it is a MUST
Mykonos is the place to be if you’re looking for nightlife and great seafood food! By far my favorite island in Greece!
I stayed at the Myconian Villa which was amazing. It has one of the most beautiful infinity pools I’ve ever seen. The resort included a private beach and transportation to and from the city. The only draw back was how far it was from the hot spots.
However, I didn’t mind the 20 minute ride so much with all the breathtaking views.
Daytime-
Even though my resort was so beautiful and amazing… I was forced to visit the near by hot spots, which I am glad I did! NAMMOS is literately HEAVEN! I sat there for hours just eating and drinking. I’ve never felt so relaxed. The restaurant sits on the beach and is a scene out the movies. The peoples energy and vibe was so heavily felt I couldn’t believe it. If you plan on visiting Mykonos. Please do yourself a favor and pop into to NAMMOS. You will not forget it.
Nighttime-
Scorpios, Scorpios, Scorpios & I’m a Virgo (j/k) This restaurant and lounge (total party scene) was an EPIC experience. I went two nights in a row. The food was AMAZING I tell you & the atmosphere to die for! Everyone is just dancing and drinking and having a good time. It was a mixture of YOUNG & OLD just together enjoying life.
I had a brief visit to the city just to explore but nothing more.
I visited three island while in Greece and I will say nothing compared to MYKONOS! I am totally planning on going back in August. I had that much fun :)

We decided to spend only one day in Mykonos. From Paros it offers a combined excursion with the visit of an archaeological site on Delos. So we opted for this option with the company Naxos Star. Departure from Naoussa port. Hardly arrived at the port, we saw several yachts, and while walking we saw the rapper Eve with her husband. The narrow streets of Mykonos Town are filled with shops that ruin all the charm of this island. You can see a lovely chapel right next to the Louis Vuitton store … Really it spoils the thing. Nevertheless there are some places to see: the church of Paraportiani, the little Venice, the Mills. We did not do the beaches but apparently they are very festive. Mykonos is known around the world for that.
Mykonos has been an island I’ve wanted to visit since I was 13. Used to collect hotel brochures and one of my favorites happened to be in Mykonos. In September it was pretty windy and night, but during the day was amazing. If you get the chance, visit Scorpios beach club. Outdoor cabanas, meets beach life, meets good music. If I could change anything, I’d visit Mykonos during the summer to enjoy the warmth of the island. The island in general is pretty pricey, especially at beach clubs.
Mykonos is beautiful. I think the best places to stay are Paradise Beach and Super Paradise Beach. I stayed at My Aktis in Super Paradise. They had beautiful villas overlooking the water and it was a quick 5 min walk to the beach.
Mykonos is the place to be if you want to party and be adventurous. Best to go in a group, probably not a baecation destination like Santorini, Greece. It also has a more calm side where you can slow your trip down and taste authentic Greek food, shop locally, or just sight see. So many great views all around the island. Paradise Beach was the best spot for everything. They had multiple bars right on the sand with all day long happy hours and water sport rentals at the beach as well. The beach chairs have small lockers (they’re cheap) so you can put your valuables in them while you party, swim, eat, or ride on a jet ski. Flights aren’t very cheap but the food and Airbnb were both cheap. The locals and even other tourists were all very friendly and welcoming in our experience as a group of black men. Be careful if you rent a vehicle, it’s nearly lawless out there on the roads. Plus very steep hills and sharp turns. The rental companies will try and get over on you saying you damaged the car since it’s so easy to scrape the bottom on the inclines/declines. Overall incredible trip and highly recommended.
Mykonos is that spot!!! This is an amazing fun island. Good Times!!! You should definitely check out Mykonos and prepare to not sleep this island is one ongoing party. I wouldn’t drive or rent a motorbike here as the roads on this island is like the wild wild west their are no rules. Island is gorgeous if you get some free time you should take the ferry over to Santorini and check out the black sand beaches. Gorgeous place and prepare for the heat!
Mykonos is such a cute fun island. The city center is painted with fresh white paint every day giving it a bright vibrant look. The water is clear and beautiful with cute little fish it is truly a paradise. At night the city is poppin with fun bars and clubs with a chic style. I had a great time in this city ,and would love to go back!
Mykonos was our last stop in Greece – party central. We stayed at the Olia Hotel and we were lucky enough to have an ocean view from the balcony. Overall the food in Greece was not great but breakfast here was superb. To be honest, I cant even remember what we paid for the room as it was so insignificant. The best way to get around the island is by quad / car and be sure to pop in at Tropicana Club at Paradise Beach if you’re in the mood for a good party. Drinks are quite pricey but they play an awesome selection of music to suit everyone’s taste. I’m pretty hard to please when it comes to music as I only listen to old school rnb and hip hop – but I was thoroughly entertained. Overall the trip was amazing. I found the Greeks to be friendly and welcoming and I would highly recommend this for a well-rounded holiday destination.
Mykonos is such a gorgeous destination with stunning views, great food, and fun nightlife. I would suggest going with a group friends as it is the “party island” of all the Greek islands.
We flew into Athens then took a ferry over to the island. I was a bit disappointed because you don’t get to go up on the deck of the ferry. You will be inside the entire time and while there are windows and a bar onboard the drink prices are a bit steep and the ride is pretty long (3+ hours). I’d definitely suggest catching a cheap domestic flight over to the island, it’s about the same price as the ferries.
The hotels and resorts are very pricey so I recommend staying in an Airbnb. All the homes overlook the sea and many of them have pools so you still get the picturesque resort views.
We rented an ATV to get around (the island is pretty easy to navigate) and found plenty of free parking near the beach and clubs.
The beaches are amazing and all are topless (optional). You can rent a lounger (shop around for the best price) and layout all afternoon. Servers will come around to offer food and drinks. There are also tons of water sport activities in you’re interested.
There’s plenty of bars, nightclubs, restaurants and shopping in Little Venice so you’ll definitely head there at some point during your trip. And everyone can speak English and most of the signs are in English so there’s no need to worry about a language barrier.
Mykonos was the second stop for my honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing! If you love party, drink and lounge on a beautiful beach, Mykonos is the island for you. I recommend taking a trip over to Paradise Beach club. There are a ton of beach loungers and chairs that you can rent for the day, the staff is plentiful and make sure you are well feed and will have the drinks following if you order. At about 3 or 4 pm the beach party starts and people start to make their way over to the huge bar area to get drinks and dance. The party is non-stop until about 4-5 am in the morning. It’s a must do activity if you are in town.
Another recommendation is to head over to Little Venice to shop, eat, bar hop and party. It’s a beautiful town with more white buildings with blue accents next to the water.
There was much to do and experience in Greece. Great night life, nice beach and water sports and much too see on each island. I recommend island hopping. We flew from USA to Athens. Then took a domestic airline to Mykonos (Best Night Life of all islands) then the local seajet to Santorini. Greece was a bit pricey but you can do better making all reservations and planning months before your trip. Best places to stay varied between hotels and Airbnb. It depends on the island
If you like to travel in group, great parties, great ambiance in terrestrial paradise where people of all the continent meet in summer, don’t think twice and go to Mykonos! There are great bars, restaurants, beaches, night club and sea club that allow you to be in the party ambiance for 24 hours drinking great cocktails, dancing to summer songs and enjoying the marvelous sun.
So the key to this trip is traveling as a group! This island is known as “Little Ibiza” so if you want romantic go to Santorini. I went with a group of 8 and we stayed in a Villa in Elia beach. The views from the top of the hill where the houses are is amazing. After splitting the costs it came to about 70 euro per night per person. Not bad at all when your group is that large. There was plenty of space for 8 but not a lot of privacy so keep that in mind. We rented two ATVs while we were there to get around. The ATVs were 80 euro for two days, which we split amongst 8 people as well. We definitely used them a lot and got our money’s worth. We had a really good time and didn’t break the bank on this trip, but the key is traveling with a decent size group to split the costs.
Price tag was high on this trip! So be prepared to spend!
Recommendations on partying:
– Void nightclub is amazing when they have Rap and Hip Hop nights, good vibes and amazing DJ’s
– Scorpios is a popular one, wouldn’t recommend them for food but definitely for partying and watching the sunset
-Nammos has amazing partying as well and when they aren’t hosting parties I would recommend them for a good meal!
Accommodation:
– I would stay as close to the town as possible, we stayed at the Mykonos Bay Hotel and it made it super easy to get around and explore.
Food:
– I wasn’t blown away by any meal I had in Greece so I would recommend getting a hotel that has breakfast included and then grabbing a light snack at lunch and a heavy dinner. I don’t really feel that this is place to splurge on meals, so I would hit up some good places in Mykonos town.
