We took our family vacation to Roswell New Mexico the year before last. While we were there the UFO festival was on. We had a blast. We never felt intimidated or uncomfortable. We rented a house in a really nice neighborhood, no problems, no issues. We were there 4th of July weekend and had a ball. Everyone was friendly and respectful. Would recommend. Black folks welcome
