    Round Rock – Kalahari Resort

    https://share.google/LNLnNq86sPwZeWGSP

Hotel – large hotel rooms with floor to ceiling windows and ease of access with the wristband upon arrival. The band is linked to your card since it’s a cashless resort, makes it efficient and easy for meandering through the resort, waterpark and swim up bar without the need to bring a wallet (only your ID).

Waterpark indoor and outdoor – fun for the entire family included with your stay or can visit for just the day with purchase of a park pass

Adult only grotto – heated swim up bar both indoor and outdoor without having to leave the water, bathrooms are a short walk around the corner and much quieter compared to the rest of the park.

Arcade and adventure park – it’s in the name lots of activities for kids and adults

    Restaurants: (on site)
B-LuX – burgers are okay but the rest of the menu looked good – full bar

Sortinos – wine bar and Italian restaurant excellent

Sortinos pizzeria – excellent and fast options try the Sicilian pizza or Caesar cutlet sandwich

Last bite – cute candy shoppe and covered apples, ice cream is just bluebell nothing noteworthy

    Live entertainment- piano bar

Spa!! – free with $80 service or pay $75 entry… pedicures, massages, facials and more. Entry earns use to the steam room, sauna and heated jacuzzi pools for the day. Definitely worth it!

Very diverse clientele and staff members. Although the art and decor through the resort is a tribute to African culture the cartoons in the arcade/adventure park are limited to white passing faces only.

Altogether safe, fun and relaxing for traveling while black with family/solo/interracial

Be prepared to spend $200-350 for a night, and easily $100-200 per person each day depending on choice of activities.
