I spent a few hours here before leaving on my ship to Antarctica. It is the world’s southernmost city. Lots of trekkers, backpackers and travellers from around the world going through, as this is a gateway to Patagonia. The city isn’t that big and it isn’t known for food or entertainment. It is a great base for starting/ending a Patagonian adventure. I felt comfortable walking around the city center.
