Agadir is absolutely gorgeous! It was a very chill vacation and one that I did solo. Ryanair has a great sale and I was able to fly here Thursday to Monday for 50 bucks! Crazy! Once I booked the flight I started to look for resorts and ended up at the Hotel RIU Takida Beach! A very nice place to stay. There are lots of beaches right outside the resort, a great pool, and decent restaurants on the property. Because I was traveling solid I didn’t venture away too much just in case any foolishness. I honestly didn’t feel the need. The Moroccan people were so happy to see this little brown girl. Everyone speaks French and I wish I would have learned some before my adventure. My room had a great sea view. I didn’t like that it was two levels only because I was traveling solo. Last word of note my hotel was all inclusive! Lots of drinks and food. I tipped in USD because they seemed to appreciate it more than their local currency. For a relaxing beach and pool vacation I would visit here again!

If you love the beach Agadir is a wonderful place to visit. Went to Agadir for two days after leaving “Essaouria Gnawa Festival” Beautiful views, perfect weather, and local food to nibble on. Along the front of the beach you’ll come across a Ferris wheel “La Grande Roue.” Moves pretty slow, but you will get views of the entire beach and shopping while on this ride. If you continue a little walk on the beach you’ll come across tons of shops and the “Marina D’Agadir.” Here you will see all the boats, lots of designer shops, and lovely cafes to grab fresh mint tea (which is my absolute favorite.) Day time here is fun for the beach, but I would recommend you visiting the marina at night, and are able to enjoy the night life and see how beautiful the lights brighten up the city! BEAUTIFUL SIGHT TO SEE along the beach sitting on the hill is a writing in Arabic which reads “God, Country, King” illuminated at night is a must see. Visible during the day, but prettier at night.

I visited Agadir in December. I found the weather this time of year to be pleasant. The locals were ok and i had no trouble travelling around. One thing to watch out for though is the children that come and beg for money. i felt sorry for them at first but then realised their parents would deliberately send them to target tourist.
I didn’t find the food to be amazing, however i think i may have just visited the wrong restaurants. So be sure to do your research before going.
If you dare to go to the market, prepare yourself as you will be harassed.
When you arrive at the airport don’t let anyone take your luggage. Put it in the taxi yourself. A random man will come take your luggage forcefully walk 30 seconds put it into a taxi and demand money. :/
